"That pain in your stomach, that pain in your heart, it goes away. That voice in your head telling you there's no way out, it's wrong. It gets better"
Unfortunately heart break is a very common thing, and everyone just assumes it wont happen to them- but when it does it hits hard. I normally don't share very personal things on here, but I think this is worth sharing. After my own personal heartbreak, one of my good friends gave me a piece for advice that I can't just let up. He said to me, bad things may happen to you, but they aren't you.
And it's true, when someone walks out of your life all of a sudden, your world is shaken up- and everything is confusing and painful and it's nothing short of difficult to deal with. But, then it just needs to be recognized that obviously that person didn't care about you enough if they didn't want to stick around, but there are plenty of people who do love you unconditionally, and will always be there for you. People can surprise you, with their words and their actions, and may show you that they aren't really who you thought they were, and at the end of the day- it's important to really know that eventually, you will find someone who truly loves you for everything you are and accepts you just the way you are. And when that time comes, you won't have to worry about getting your heartbroken anymore. Until then, some other great advice from the greatest (Hunter), Chin up Buttercup :)

  1. I'm so sorry to hear about your heartbreak. That beginning quote is certainly true though! Time will most certainly help.

  2. This is great advice! When dealing with a break up I've always reminded friends (and myself) that each day that passes, the pain will lessen the tiniest bit. Eventually you'll wonder why you were so hung up about it in the first place!
